What is an air taxi plane?
Designed around the passengers it carries, the taxi plane is often fitted with a single engine which allows it to offer particularly low operating costs. Because of its performance, it can take off and land from airfields with very short runways, and even in some circumstances from airfields with only a grass strip with an unprepared surface.
Because it takes off and lands almost anywhere, because it flies at low altitudes and can take direct flight paths, air taxi travel is incomparably more efficient than regular car, train or even scheduled flights.

There are many types of private aircraft capable of operating from secondary or barely equipped airfields. There are 3 main categories of these aircraft:
· Light Aircraft Rental
Equipped with a single engine and 2 to 5 seats, they have the major advantage of being able to take off and land on grass runways of a few hundred metres. On the other hand, they are not recommended for long journeys (more than 3 hours) because of their relatively low cruising speed (between 250 and 350 km/h) and rudimentary comfort (often non-pressurised cabin). However, they offer very competitive fares compared to other types of aircraft, particularly private jets.
· Single-Engine Turboprop Aircraft Rental
For the past decade, this category of aircraft has been very successful due to regulatory changes that have made it possible to operate them in all weather conditions. These aircraft offer you the benefits of light aircraft by allowing you to reach small airfields while enjoying the high performance and comfort of business jets: high altitude and cruising speed, pressurised cabin.
· Very Light Jet Rental
Because they are powered by two small turbojet engines mounted at the rear of the fuselage (exceptionally, above the wings), light jets appear to be similar in design to traditional business jets. What are private jets costs?
The calculation of the price of a charter flight with a private aircraft is usually based on a round trip, even if you only use the outbound or inbound leg. In our proposals, we ensure that the aircraft operator incorporates all operating costs, flight crew, maintenance, fuel, various charges (ground handling, air traffic control) and applicable taxes. Depending on the route, VAT may be applicable, especially when passengers are travelling on domestic routes.
We always seek to select appropriately located aircraft to avoid positioning costs. However, if you wish to take off from an isolated airfield where no suitable aircraft is based or available, the cost of an empty flight will be incurred. Don’t worry, these costs are included in our priced offer.
An all-inclusive offer without surprises:
– As mentioned above, our offers include all the expenses, charges, taxes and aeronautical fees related to the air transport service.
– When chartering a taxi plane, the price is nearly the same whether you are travelling alone or using the entire capacity of the cabin at your exclusive disposal.
– When you book your air cab service you select the departure and arrival times that suit you the most. If you wish to change them afterwards, you have the possibility of doing so at no additional cost, whatever the reason.
– On arrival at the airport, boarding formalities are straightforward, simply present yourself at the meeting point a few minutes before the scheduled departure time. A personalised welcome, in a dedicated lounge, is included in our service.
– The few additional costs that may be charged to you after the service has been provided are formally presented to you before the charter contract is signed. They generally concern exceptional insurance premiums or non-standard aeronautical fees.
